How to do when the domain trasfer lose expiration date?

When transferring a domain to Aiming Network, a transfer fee is required. Under normal circumstances, after the domain is successfully transferred, its expiration date will automatically be extended by one year. If the expiration date of the domain does not extend after a successful transfer, there are several possible reasons:

1. The domain is less than 60 days away from its new registration/last renewal/last transfer.

2. The domain's expiration date is more than 9 years away from the transfer date.

3. The domain expired without renewal or was renewed after expiration at the original service provider before the transfer.

According to the registry rules, if a domain is renewed after expiration or not renewed after expiration at the original service provider, it is considered as an automatic one-year renewal. In such cases, if the domain is transferred to a new service provider, the domain's expiration period will remain the same as before the transfer.

How to do when the domain trasfer lose expiration date?

1. If it is due to the domain being less than 60 days away from its new registration/last renewal/last transfer, or the domain's expiration date being more than 9 years away before the transfer, you can contact customer service personnel, or submit a ticket.

2. If the domain expired and was not renewed at the original service provider before being transferred to a new service provider, generally no action is needed. However, if you are concerned, you can contact customer service personnel or submit a ticket.

3. If the domain was renewed for one year at the original service provider after expiration and then transferred to a new service provider, you will need to contact the original registrar to request a refund of your renewal payment.
